Subscription Tracker is a free set of tools to add up subscription costs, build a budget, and plan a savings goal.
Every calculation runs in your browser, and we openly publish the formulas and standards we use.
What is Subscription Tracker
Subscription Tracker (sub.moneycomon.com) is a free set of tools that help you control the subscription costs leaving your account each month, build a balanced monthly budget, and turn savings goals into concrete monthly amounts. By turning scattered recurring payments and vague intentions into numbers, it lets anyone see their money flow at a glance.
The tools we offer
- Subscription Cost Calculator - adds up recurring subscriptions with automatic monthly/yearly conversion to show your monthly and yearly cost and average daily cost.
- Monthly Budget Calculator - splits your after-tax monthly income with the 50/30/20 rule into needs, wants, and savings to design a monthly budget.
- Savings Goal Calculator - works out how much to save each month from a target amount, time frame, and current savings (with an optional interest-factored mode).
Operating principles (E-E-A-T)
- Experience - we mirror the item structure used on real subscription bills and household budgets, and break results down per item.
- Expertise - we use proven household finance formulas such as the 50/30/20 budget rule, yearly-to-monthly conversion, and the future value of compound deposits.
- Authoritativeness - we clearly state our calculation standards and assumptions (for example, that interest-factored figures are pre-tax) and note that they are not absolute rules.
- Trustworthiness - we do not hide our formulas, we clearly flag estimated figures, and we do not collect or store your inputs.
About our calculation standards
Every result from Subscription Tracker is a reference estimate based on your inputs and published formulas. Subscription totals do not automatically apply currency conversion or tax, and the 50/30/20 budget is a recommended starting point rather than an absolute rule. The interest-factored figure for a savings goal is a pre-tax expected value before any tax on interest income. Actual amounts may vary with billing timing, deposit method, and taxes, so base your final decisions on your real statements and a professional's advice.
